Meet Tami
Tami Kathryn, PsyD, MMFT specializes in supporting individuals and families navigating high-conflict divorce, co-parenting challenges, and post-separation abuse. Her work centers on helping clients heal from narcissistic abuse, domestic abuse, and the emotional toll of toxic relationship dynamics.
Tami understands that leaving a high-conflict or abusive relationship doesn’t always end the stress — especially when children are involved. Ongoing legal battles, manipulative communication, and co-parenting with a difficult or unsafe former partner can feel overwhelming and isolating. Therapy becomes a space where clients can regain clarity, confidence, and a sense of stability.
With advanced training in family systems, trauma, and high-conflict relationship dynamics, Tami helps clients:
• Establish emotional boundaries
• Reduce anxiety and trauma responses
• Navigate co-parenting safely and strategically
• Rebuild self-trust after emotional or psychological abuse
• Develop communication plans that protect their well-being
Her approach is trauma-informed, structured, and empowering. Clients often describe her style as calm, direct, and deeply validating — especially during times when they may feel doubted or misunderstood by others.
Tami earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University and is completing her Doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at The Chicago School. Her clinical focus and doctoral training have centered on high-conflict family systems, trauma recovery, and post-separation abuse dynamics.
She works with adults navigating:
✔ High-conflict divorce
✔ Co-parenting with a narcissistic or abusive ex-partner
✔ Domestic and emotional abuse recovery
✔ Post-separation harassment or coercive control
✔ Anxiety and trauma related to relationship stress
